Like its name suggests, Crawfish Hole #2 is the second installment of the Crawfish Hole name. The original Crawfish Hole was opened by Bush's father
in Natchitoches in 1992. Bush loved helping his father with the business and decided that he would like to open his own restaurant. Soon Bush
unexpectedly came across the current Crawfish Hole #2 location, and in a flash they were opening up their own establishment.
With the blessing of Bush's father to use Crawfish Hole #2 as our name, we opened for business in January 1999. When we opened, we could seat 20
people and only served crawfish, boiled shrimp, corn, and potatoes. Over the years, we slowly expanded both our menu and our dining room. We now
consider ourselves a full service seafood restaurant and are able to seat 128 guests.
We were voted Minden Press Herald's 2014 Reader's Choice Favorite Seafood Restaurant and Favorite Overall Restaurant and have won the Favorite
Seafood Restaurant distinction for several years. The Shreveport Times has also named us the Reader's Choice Award Runner-Up for Best Crawfish
Restaurant.
